Welcome to Union Elementary. Union houses approximately 170 students in grades kindergarten through fourth. Union serves all students' needs, including general education classrooms, special education programing, high ability education, Response to Intervention programing, speech and communication programming, physical and occupational therapies, art, music, physical education, media center services and full day kindergarten.
Union Elementary received a "B" letter grade from the Indiana Department of Education. Union has also made Adequate Yearly Progress according to the No Child Left Behind federal law.
Most families consider the history and tradition of major importance to the character, family atmosphere, and uniqueness of Union. Some pupils are the 4th or 5th generation of their families to attend Union. Union continues to be a major focal point and source of pride for most of the families that live in Union Township.
